Lifesaver mudra

Lifesaver mudra (Apān Vāyu Mudrā, Sanskrit "psychic gesture of life force") is one of the hand mudras that are recommended to practice during breathing gymnastics sessions in Prana Breath app.

Effects

Physical:

  • regulates many heart complications
  • first-aid mudra at the first sign of a heart attack
  • is claimed to have even a quicker effect than using nitroglycerin (the most frequently used immediate remedy)

Performance

With each hand:

  1. Bend your index finger and let its tip touch the ball of your thumb.
  2. The tips of the middle and ring fingers touch the tip of your thumb.
  3. Extend your little finger.
