Dish Washing Meditation is the extra preset training type in Prana Breath app, available in Guru version. It is a meditation, obviously.

Origin, history

This meditation on the go has become popular recent decades, and is popularized widely (even in Today show. There are lots of books that cover this topic, but we recommend a simple yet inspiring book by Nobel Peace Prize nominee Thich Nhat Hanh called "Peace in Every Step".

Setting the training

  1. Download this pattern if you don't have it yet.
  2. Choose this pattern in Training tab or Control tab just before you are about to eat.
  3. You might change the settings of this meditation in Control tab and/or Dynamic tab to adjust it for your taste and needs.
  4. Have a few (or a lot) dirty dishes available for washing before you start.

Training process

  1. Open a water tap and adjust the water temperature and water jet.
  2. Take a couple of slow relaxing breaths.
